By engaging Jonathan Fry Automotive Ltd ("the Workshop") for automotive repair, maintenance, or any other services, you ("the Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions regarding payment for services rendered.

2.1. All services provided by the Workshop are subject to the payment terms outlined herein.
2.2. The Customer will be provided with an estimate or pro forma invoice detailing the cost of parts, labour, and any additional fees prior to the commencement of work, where feasible. Final costs may vary due to unforeseen circumstances, and the Customer will be notified of any significant changes.
2.3. Full payment is due immediately upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by the Workshop.

4. Late Payment
4.1. If payment is not received in full by the due date, the Workshop reserves the right to charge interest on the outstanding balance in line with Section 69 of the County Courts Act 1984, calculated daily from the due date until payment is received.
4.2. The Customer will be responsible for any additional costs, including legal fees or collection agency fees, incurred by the Workshop in recovering overdue payments.

5. Retention of Vehicle
5.1. The Workshop retains the right to withhold the release of the Customer’s vehicle until full payment for all services, parts, and applicable fees has been received.
5.2. Vehicles will only be released to the Customer or an authorised representative upon confirmation of cleared funds.
5.3. The Workshop is not liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damages arising from the retention of the vehicle due to non-payment.

6.1. If the Customer fails to make full payment and retrieve their vehicle within 7 days of service completion, the Workshop may charge a daily storage fee of £25.00 until the vehicle is collected and all outstanding amounts are settled.

7. Disputes
7.1. Any disputes regarding the invoice or services provided must be raised in writing within 14 days of receiving the invoice.

8.1. The Workshop reserves the right to exercise a lien over the Customer’s vehicle in accordance with applicable local laws until all outstanding payments are cleared.
