Policy
At Jonathan Fry Automotive Ltd, we are committed to providing high-quality service and keeping our customers informed about their jobs. However, to prioritise the timely completion of work and maintain operational efficiency, we do not provide routine or incremental updates on jobs while they are in progress.  

We understand the importance of transparency and will notify customers promptly in the event of a major change in the status of a job, such as significant delays, completion milestones, or other critical developments that materially impact the job. These updates will be provided as soon as practicable, when time and resources allow, to ensure that we can continue to focus on delivering exceptional results without unnecessary interruptions.

Examples of major changes:

The work is completed and the vehicle is ready for collection.
The vehicle has failed its MOT test and we require authorisation to carry out the repairs.
The conditions found during dismantling affect the outcome of the job.
There is a significant change in the estimated completion time.
There is a significant change in the estimated cost.

Streamlined Communication: Limiting updates to significant changes ensures that customers receive clear, meaningful information rather than repetitive or minor details.
